perfect price for that simple look August 13, 2010 Paul excellent price for a inexpensive glasses that gives you the "Clark Kent" look without going over board in price or brand. craftsmanship is pretty good for what I paid for with easy payment and the shipping was fast. Will probably order another pair just to have laying around the house.
perfect purchase July 26, 2010 Charli I'm very glad I made this purchase. The glass are even better then I expected. The total transaction was flawless and the wait time was not long at all. Thank you Amazon and Google and Glasses. This Clark Kent's are coming back in style and I'm having real lens placed in the frame. Very happy with this item.
Great, affordable glasses! May 13, 2010 Ailee Fei (LA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I've been desperately looking for replacements after my previous glasses broke and have looked everywhere for ones that fit my face/head. Most of this type of glasses are on the narrower side and my gives me a headache when I wear them for a prolonged period, and plus it doesn't look good.
This was the only pair out of all the ones I bought that fits perfectly, and the quality is good enough for me to put scripts in them. I think I will order a few more pairs in case they break again, it's so difficult to buy a pair that fits at an affordable price!
*Btw, the lens that came with the frames were clear enough to wear if you don't need scripts, and lots of places don't do scripts for this type of frames because they said there's no measurement or something, so you really have to look for a place to get the lens done.
sweet, quality frame, terrible lenses. March 2, 2010 David Andora (Chicago, Il United States) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Yes, I know they are cheap glasses, but the lenses are lower quality than cheap sunglasses, which was the quality I was expecting (that of cheap sunglasses, not less than) Optically TERRIBLE. Only passable for a costume, but terribly annoying if you want to actually wear them and see. They don't distort, but the clarity is terrible, even after a proper cleaning. For me, it made them pretty much unusable.
Strong, Sturdy, and Nerdy January 21, 2010 Mikah Sargent (Saint Joseph, Missouri) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These glasses are quite wonderful. They've held up, they're uber nerdy, and I love them. The micro-fiber cleaning cloth draw string bag is very useful.
